Harmoniismo is a spiritual path founded on the understanding of the unity of life. It affirms that everything that exists — human beings, animals, plants, microorganisms and entire worlds — participates in the same conscious reality, originating from the Original Source, an impersonal, conscious and complete principle from which everything emanates and to which everything returns.
No form of life is superior to another. All possess equal spiritual dignity, fulfilling distinct roles in the great fabric of existence. The diversity of species, worlds and experiences establishes no hierarchies, but rather methods of learning. Each form of life is a legitimate instrument of consciousness on its evolutionary path.
The soul is eternal and journeys through multiple existences. Incarnations are neither punishments nor rewards, but free choices guided by necessary learning. Consciousness passes through different bodies, taking on varied roles — human, animal, plant and simple forms — according to the experiences it needs to live through. Reincarnating as a human does not represent a higher stage, but simply a specific condition, marked by great responsibilities and moral risks.
Harmoniismo rejects anthropocentrism. It considers human pride a sign of spiritual immaturity. Violence against any form of existence breaks the harmony of the whole and delays the soul's progress. Caring for, protecting and respecting life is a sacred act. Relationships between humans and animals, in Harmoniismo, are grounded in care, protection and respect for the boundaries proper to each form of life. When those boundaries are violated by distorted impulses, there is not only harm to the other being, but a profound rupture in the harmony of the web of life.
Harmoniist ethics rests on non-violence, responsibility for one's own actions and awareness of the impact each choice generates on the whole. Power must be exercised as service, never as domination. Justice arises from empathy, sharing and care for the vulnerable.
Spiritual life cannot be separated from daily life. Mindful eating, attentive work, responsible speech, inner silence and care for the Earth are concrete expressions of spirituality. Harmony is not a distant ideal, but a daily practice.
The common destiny of all souls is the overcoming of the illusion of separation and conscious union with the Original Source. This return does not complete the Source, which is already whole, but deepens the consciousness of the soul itself, which recognises, at last, its origin and its belonging to the whole.
Harmoniismo invites each being to live with humility, responsibility and reverence for life, remembering that the harmony of the universe begins in individual choices and manifests itself in the way each consciousness learns to exist in peace with all others.
