Clarifications on the teachings, ethics, and spiritual vision of Harmoniismo.

1

No. Harmoniismo does not teach that animal suffering is desirable, necessary, or spiritually justifiable. Suffering is never a value in itself. It arises as a consequence of natural imbalances and, above all, of human action.

When Harmoniismo affirms that many animal souls possess high spiritual maturity, this does not mean they "need" to suffer, nor that their suffering is acceptable. It means only that, within the cycle of lives, some mature souls accept incarnating in more vulnerable contexts. But this acceptance does not imply consent to violence, nor does it diminish the responsibility of those who cause suffering.

This understanding does not romanticize pain or relativize violence. On the contrary: it makes violence even more serious, as it recognizes that it reaches conscious beings who are dignified, sensitive, and spiritually valuable to the harmony of the greater whole.

2

No. In Harmoniismo, exactly the opposite occurs. If animals are bearers of consciousness and spiritual dignity, human responsibility is amplified, not reduced.

Violence against animals is understood as:

  • a sign of the illusion of superiority
  • an expression of spiritual immaturity
  • a rupture of universal harmony

Recognizing the spiritual maturity of many animal souls does not justify or relativize the suffering they face. On the contrary: it morally condemns those who cause it.

Even if a human soul is at an immature stage of consciousness, incarnation in "human form" offers a body endowed with reflective thinking, complex language, and the capacity to anticipate consequences. This means that, regardless of the degree of spiritual maturity of the soul inhabiting that human body, the soul incarnated there has access to instruments that make it highly responsible for its choices.

3

Harmoniismo does not impose absolute prohibitions, but establishes a rigorous ethical criterion: every relationship with animals must minimize suffering and avoid cruelty, waste, and unnecessary exploitation. In this way, food, as well as the use of natural resources and coexistence with other species, must be guided by:

  • genuine necessity
  • gratitude
  • moderation
  • maximum reduction of pain

Whenever less harmful or violent alternatives exist, choose them.

4

Harmoniismo acknowledges that living implies impact. No form of material life exists without affecting others. Therefore, harmoniist ethics does not seek "absolute purity," but awareness of impact.

The central question is not: "Can I live without causing any harm?" but rather: "How can I live causing the least possible imbalance?"

Spiritual maturity manifests in care, intention, moderation, and responsibility — not in the denial of life.

5

No. Harmoniismo rejects any fixed spiritual hierarchy among species. No form of life is superior or inferior in essence or spiritual dignity.

Human incarnation offers specific capacities — such as complex language, social organization, and the power to transform the environment — which amplify both the potential for care and the risk of violence. At the same time, compared to many animal incarnations, human life may, in certain circumstances, expose the soul to fewer direct trials.

The human condition does not indicate greater spiritual evolution, but a distinct configuration of challenges. It combines greater freedom of choice with greater ethical responsibility. When this freedom is used for domination and violence, it reveals immaturity of consciousness; when used for care and service, it reveals maturity and contributes to spiritual growth.

In Harmoniismo, human life does not occupy a spiritual apex, but a specific field of learning, embedded in the same cycle common to all forms of life.

6

The choice of incarnation is not equally conscious for all souls.

Souls in early stages choose in a way that is:

  • partial
  • intuitive
  • influenced by fear, attachment to control, or the search for security

As they mature, choices become:

  • broader
  • less centered on power
  • more oriented toward service and harmony

In all cases, there will always be learning and an expansion of consciousness.

7

No. Harmoniismo does not propose itself as a substitute for any religious tradition. It recognizes spiritual value in different paths and encourages dialogue, coexistence, and mutual learning.

Its focus is not the exclusivity of truth, but harmony among consciousnesses, species, and living systems.

8

The goal is not to accumulate merits, power, or spiritual status. It is to mature consciousness, overcome the illusion of separation, and live in full harmony with the whole.

When this learning is complete, the soul consciously returns to the Original Source — not as a self-annihilation, but as the lucid integration of lived experience.
