Daily
Practices
Transform understanding into action. Daily moments for prayerful meditation.
Morning Greeting
Upon waking, in a reverent attitude, give thanks for the day that begins. A suggested prayer:
"Dear Creative Force, I am grateful for the opportunity to wake under your care. Surely, I will live through the situations I need to experience in order to evolve toward the supreme Good. Believing so, I bless my hours, I bless my paths, and I bless my encounters. May my actions be a fertile source of peace to all things and all beings. May health be my companion and a clear conscience my safest refuge. Today and always, amen."
Midday Pause
In the middle of the day, take a silent pause. Reflect on how your day has been up to that moment. What can you do to bring happiness to a soul today?
Before Sleep
In the evening, take time for the last prayer of the day:
"Dear Original Source, consciousness that sustains all lives, I am grateful for this day that draws to a close before me. I receive rest as a gesture of Your care, and I surrender to You everything I have lived β certain that it was for my own good. I forgive those who have hurt me, and I ask forgiveness for all I have done without love. May tonight's sleep be for me a sea of peace, renewing, healing, and quieting the soul. May all creatures find shelter this night β human and non-human alike, each one precious in Your sight. May Your light surround my thoughts, my body, and my soul, so that I may wake wiser, more serene, and more aware of universal harmony. Thank you for watching over my rest. In You, I surrender my being and my path. I will sleep in Your holy peace. So be it."
Channeling Peace, Love and Harmony
The laying on of hands is understood as a spiritual care practice. Since ancient times, this practice has been used. Following what we have learned from ancient peoples, we also observe the practice of laying on of hands. How do we do it?
- with hands laid on (one or both);
- in silence (ambient or instrumental music may be played);
- applied to people, animals, plants, or environments;
- 5 to 10 minutes a day is sufficient;
- it can be done for others (one or more people) and for oneself.
Before beginning, one may silently or softly say a prayer:
"O supreme Source, Bestower of life, balance, and virtue, allow me to be a perfect instrument of peace, love, and harmony in this moment."
After that, simply hold your hands directed toward the focus of the channeling, in stillness, serenity, and sacred respect.
